Thank you to all those who helped to make Peace Neighborhood Center’s
25th Annual Thanks for Giving a great success!

Your generosity helped Peace exceed our goal to match the City of Ann Arbor’s Office of Sustainability & Innovation’s $250,000 grant investment – which will help Peace become our community’s next designated  Resilience Hub!

All proceeds from this year’s dinner will be invested in energy-efficient improvements and building & technology upgrades for Peace’s Ann Arbor facility, last updated 23 years ago. Your gift, together with the City’s investment, will set the stage for renewable energy and back power—making it possible for Peace to stay open and provide a safe space and critical support services for our families and the wider community, through power outages, disruptions, and other emergencies.

Over the last 54 years, Peace has always served as a Resilience Hub for our community — a safe, trusted place for our community to access vital programs and wraparound support services. Investing in energy-efficient building & technology upgrades will allow Peace to expand upon the work we’ve been doing for years—especially at a time when we are witnessing increased need in our community amidst funding cuts for our local safety-net.
