Case Manager – Baker Commons On-Site Services

This open position is responsible for various activities centered around resident wellness within the Baker Commons housing site. This includes conducting wellness and safety checks for residents at the request of Ann Arbor Housing Commission (AAHC) staff, coordinating with local authorities and crisis teams as necessary, and providing crisis intervention when needed. Additionally, the position involves collaborating with community partners to ensure residents’ mental, physical, and psychosocial needs are met through direct services or referrals to appropriate resources. Advocating for clients to secure necessary services from both internal and external service providers is also part of the job scope.


REACH Program Manager

The REACH Program Manager develops and manages social emotional learning programs for K-5th graders in after-school and summer settings. Responsibilities include creating and evaluating curriculum, assigning staff tasks, and handling youth recruitment and registration. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to maintain a safe environment, mediate conflicts, manage crises, and support youth development. The manager monitors academic performance, aids in planning, and liaises with school staff and parents. They engage with families, advocate for their needs, and collaborate with case managers. Additional duties include planning enrichment activities and field trips, and representing Peace Neighborhood Center at community events. Supervision is provided by the Youth Programs Director and Executive Director.
